Nice chapter tho! I think the editor saw potential in this series and decided to let the story hit a longer, more meandering route instead of just him falling in love with the Fmc, them ending up together somehow and having to finish the story early. Plus i think Akito is adorable
As much as l want the OG ending l would like them to grow alot more

Gotou lost against his worst enemy: himself. While everybody are working their ass off to pass their exams, he is basically giving Akito her first sex ed lesson.

I know people are still angry over the retcon, but for me, Akito is the best thing to happen to this manga. Watching Gotou get constantly rebuffed by a girl with over a dozen casual sex partners and his incessant simping over her got old very quickly. In an ideal world, he and Akito would begin dating in earnest, but we know he still likes Agawa and this decision was based purely on lust. Even if he never falls for poor Akito, maybe Agawa should be the one experiencing jealousy for a while.
